With regard to the last quote, I wonder when the revolution will begin where users expect more of the products and services &lt;b&gt;knowing&lt;/b&gt; that companies have the ability to maintain their data.

Imagine going to the same restaurant week after week and they never keep track of how you like your steak.  Or going to the Dry Cleaners and they never remember how you like your shirts starched.  Would you keep going?  Why is it different for a drycleaner to remember your name, likes and dislikes... and not an online company?

I already suspect many people know how much data companies are accumulating on them.  What irritates me is that they don&#039;t put it to use to give me what I expect.
